At Ginger Group, we love everything Brazilian, so it will come as no surprise that we are now offering The Brazilian Blow Dry – the answer to the permanent good hair day!
Recently featured in the Evening Standard, this bang on-trend treatment using Global Keratin, the Brazilian Blow Dry – also known as the permanent blow dry - is an innovative conditioning and straightening treatment that transforms the hair in its entirety and leaves it feeling totally re-energised. This revolutionary treatment was originally developed in Brazil and is based on the protein Keratin, which is the primary protein of skin, hair and nails. This natural substance gives hair the ability to return to its original healthy, shiny and smooth state.
The lure of having fabulous glossy hair long after the blow-dry, coupled with a chemical-free, semi-permanent blow-out is music to most people’s ears.

The treatment is simple and fast. Hair is first washed before being treated with Global Keratin, a keratin-rich solution of cocoa-oil, white and red clay, vitamins and proteins. It is then dried completely before the product is sealed in with straighteners.

Great Lengths Hair Extensions
Ginger Group is introducing Great Lengths, the latest technique in hair extensions in the New Year. Using 100% natural hair sourced from temples in India and a revolutionary application system called ‘cold fusion’ which requires no heat during the process and greatly reduces the risk of damage to clients’ hair. Great Lengths will be available in salon from mid-January.

Ginger Group Cocktail
In celebration of the Westfield opening, we had a top London mixologist create the GG cocktail. So if you’re looking for something different to serve, try this!
First infuse some fresh ginger with fresh lime, white sugar and rhubarb. You do this by simmering these ingredients together for one hour then straining to produce a succulent syrup. Let it cool before placing in the fridge until your guests arrive. When ready to serve, using a tall glass, fill it with ice, pour in one part of syrup, add a dash of fresh lime juice, two parts of vodka followed by four parts of soda water. Stir well before adding more ice and enjoy. If you’re feeling really decadent, you can replace the soda water with Champagne or Prosecco!
New Westfield salon
The
Ginger Group is launching its new flagship salon in Westfield London,
the new mega-shopping centre situated in Shepherd's Bush/White City,
West London.
Westfield London is set on 43 acres and is twice the size of Brent
Cross, standing as the largest in-town shopping complex in Europe. The
centre is made up of 265 shops, 40 restaurants, a gym, a spa, and a
14-screen cinema, and has taken three years to complete and will open
on 30th October 2008 at 9 am.
